Foraging FUNgi walks

Come and discover what fungus is growing locally!

Join Peterra Magica for a morning filled with hunting, foraging and identifying wild mushrooms in local forests and woodlands. You will learn to safely identify edible, medicinal and poisonous mushroom species, and get to understand how these amazing organisms protect, regulate and manage the forest eco system.

The primary focus of this event is education so please don’t expect to be leaving with a huge basket of wild mushrooms. But please bring a container of some sort to store what you do find.

All foraging walks take place near Scarborough, North Yorkshire, the exact locations will be provided closer to the event and all walks will be led by Peterra Magica, born in Czech and has experience of mushroom foraging over 35years.
